TREE GRATES

OT

PRODUCT BRIEF

The OT design is the grate upon which Urban Accessories was built.

Designed by our founder Robert Haggard, and first cast using an abandoned iron furnace found in the barn of a pig farm, the OT was sold by his wife Merry by hand in small lots to local architects, and was named after none other than their beloved family dog Coyote (see picture in page footer.)

For 45 years, this ornamental tree grate design has stood as a challenge to foundries around the world to make work of both utility and beauty. We are proud to argue that it remains an open challenge few have managed to answer with the same spirit of originality.
