Since our founding we have always selected durable and environmentally sustainable materials and finishes. Our metals meet or exceed typical recycled content and our non-metals are all chosen for their durability and for sustainable forestry practices. Below is our selection of materials and finishes that have been carefully curated over the years.
All of our metal options are living finishes which will patina over time creating beautiful and unique finishes.

Gray Iron is the workhorse of the industry and 100% post-consumer recycled content. With a long lifespan, iron casts gray in color and immediately builds into a consistent rusty orange color. Depending on site conditions, in roughly 1-2 years, rusting will naturally develop into a protective dark antique patina. Ductile Iron is stronger and ideal for vehicular installations versus regular Gray Iron but it too will evolve exactly the same. We have an assortment of finish selections for either iron option if raw finish and natural patina development are not ideal for project aesthetics.
Aluminum, lightweight, silver in color, and 100% post-consumer recycled content. In time, Aluminum will slightly darken in tone to more of a matte gray and won’t rust. For Aluminum material, we have an array of finish selections, such as raw, brushed, and polished.
Silicon Bronze gives a true living finish and patinas depending on your site conditions. It is the most corrosion-resistant material we offer and is ideal for marine and saltwater environments.
Nickel Bronze, is lighter, more silver tone than our Silicone Bronze. Another great material option for marine environments or treated water.
Most cast products pair with fabricated framing using similar material options. Our fabricated metal offerings can be used for both our grating framing and our site furnishings. Our framing will most commonly have a raw finish while our site furnishings will be brushed, polished, or powder coated.
Our natural pallet creates a textured finish establishing a dynamic and tactical surface. We recommend our natural pallet for all cast products.
All of our powder coat colors are high-quality polyester-based powders that meet our high standards for durability and finish. Each option is sustainably selected because of its low VOCs. In addition to the stock colors below, we can provide custom color-matched options for Pantone® and RAL® colors and other existing stock exterior powders.

All our wood options were chosen with preserving our forests in mind, taking necessary steps to ensure sustainability and environmental consciousness. Our lumber offerings are all FSC certified and are domestically sourced and processed. We also offer Richlite, a sustainably versatile wood alternative consisting of 100% recycled paper and resin. This option is also known for its durability and emitting very low VOC’s.
